Grown by Nature Farmers Market 23/04/2017

This month, we are partnering with AccorHotels hotels and resorts to deliver our fifth farmer’s market on April 23; from 9am to 5pm at the park next to Grand Mercure Da Nang on Green Island. With the participation of around 25 vendors, the market is expected to be another great success. This will be an childenfriendly event where family members can all come together and enjoy a beautiful Sunday with activities including LIK building workshops; a plastic awareness booth, music and clean food stalls.

Danang citizens, expats and tourists can directly purchase local produce; handmade products and food from farms and producers across central Vietnam. Local producers also have an opportunity to approach a number of premier international hotels. As always, a transparent profile describing the vendor’s story, technique and methods will be displayed for the consumers to view on market day and also available online on Healthyfarm.org the future of responsible agriculture in Vietnam.

Evergreen Labs is a Danangbased company focused on developing social and environmental projects into sustainable businesses for longlasting positive impact. Seven months ago, we started our project addressing food security with only the determination to do something about this alarming problem in Vietnam. Two months later, we organized our very first Farmer’s Market the first of its kind in Da Nang city. Throughout four markets, our vendors have sold approximately 4 tonnes of clean food to a total of 4,300 visitors. These successes prove that we are on the right track towards our project’s ultimate goal, which is to promote clean food, encourage sustainable farming practices and make naturally grown food more affordable and accessible.
